DIY: Make up Organizer

Do you need a place to put your make up in an organized way?
Try this DIY make up organizer made of shoe box.

I used to store my make ups in a small drawer made of plastic. As I buy new ones, I ran out of space to store them. What I did, I put them in a shoe box as a temporary storage. I had a lot of space but the problem is that I have all of my make ups there and it is not organized. I have to dig into that box to look for a product that I need. I thought of having a make over to that old simple shoe box. I decided to put dividers in so I can organize my things according to their use.

Materials:
shoe box
folder or  box board
scissors
glue
optional:
plastic cover
decoration
gift wrapper

What to to:
  • Identify where you want to put dividers in your box.
  • Measure the height and width of you shoe box. Measure the space of where you want to put the dividers.
  • Make the dividers. Trace the measurements using a pen. Put an extra ½ inch space at the bottom and sides of the dividers to serve as the support in attaching the dividers. Cut the boards.
  • Attach the dividers into the box. Secure them using glue. Let it dry.
  • You can wrap your box and put decorations.

I wrapped my organizer with crumpled pattern paper and decorated it with some cut out flowers. I also wrapped it with plastic cover for more protection.

I also made another one in that I use in storing my some crafts tools and office stuff.
